Welcome Back to Disney! πππI hope you enjoyed my last post on A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron’s Carter’s Oh Aaron Album ,and that you’re ready for some more NOSTALGIC FUN down music memory lane.πΆπΏ‘Cause today, as promised in my last post from yesterday, we’re continuing with Aaron Carter’s discography and talking all about his FOURTH, BEST, and MOST ICONIC album (in my humble opinion), Another Earthquake!. So, let’s get into it!ππΏπΆ π€❤️π§‘π€π€π©΅ππ©Άπ
Like I briefly mentioned before, Another Earthquake is the fourth studio album by American teen pop singer (at the time) Aaron Carter, released through Jive Records on September 3, 2002.πAnother Earthquake! made its chart debut at #18 on the U.S. Billboard 200 (with 41,000 units sold).π But, in its second week, it did fall to #41 ( with 21,000 units). It also charted at #55 on the Japanese Albums (Oricon) Chart. Surprisingly, this album was much less successful than Oh Aaron, and would be Aaron Carter’s third and final studio album with Jive Records.ππFour singles were released from this album, though, the title track “Another Earthquake!”, “Summertime”, “To All the Girls”, and “Do You Remember”.ππππAaron Carter promoted this album on the Rock, Rap and Retro Tour, with Jump 5, No Secrets, and Triple Image as opening acts. He also performed a couple of those singles and a few other other songs from the album on some talk shows, like Live with Regis & Kelly, as well as on some children’s TV shows. And that’s about all the information I could find about this album online.ππ
So now, I’ll just talk about the memories I have when it comes to this album by Aaron Carter and all that kind of stuff.πThis is THE Aaron Carter album that I associate most with my childhood. Like with all of Aaron Carter's previous albums that I’ve already talked about, I was still very young when this album came out in 2002. As I was only five-years-old. So, I didn’t know about this album at all at that time. But like I’ve also mentioned in my last three posts, in 2005 my older sister (Ariel) got the CDs of this album and Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), and so that is when I first knew that this album even existed. In fact, I have a vivid, special memory of listening to this album with my sister for the first time in 2005. And then my family and I also blasting the CD of this album in the car on our way to his concert at Six Flags where we lived at the time. Which, as I also mentioned before, was my sisters and I’s VERY FIRST CONCERT. So, that’s also why I’m maybe a little bit more biased towards this specific album of Aaron’s, because it was the one I remember listening to the most when I was a kid.
To my memory, I also remember at that first concert I went to, Aaron performing a lot of the songs from this specific album then, as well. So, again, that's maybe also why a lot of the songs on this album have always been the more memorable ones to me than many of his other songs from his other albums. But I hadn’t actually listened to this album (Another Earthquake!) in a very long time before doing so for this post. The last time I listened to this album was probably when I was in my early 20’s when I went through and watched old family home videos and came across the one of the Aaron Carter concert that my sisters and I attended, and that was the last time I heard or listened to any of these songs from this album. So still, this was definitely the first time in a while since I had listened to this WHOLE ALBUM from beginning to end. And I really enjoyed re-listening to it.
This album (Another Earthquake!) was the MOST NOSTALGIC to listen back to out of all of the Aaron Carter albums that I've talked about so far, and it brought back SO MANY childhood memories of mine. To the point that it made me quite emotional, even though most of the songs on this album are more happy. Not a lot of ballads or necessarily sad songs. But again, for some reason, a lot of these songs did make me quite emotional listening back to them. Probably because of all the nostalgia vibes. And, yeah, it definitely just made me want to go back to 2002, and 2005, when I saw Aaron Carter in concert. But I’ll never forgot those times, and thanks to this album existing, I won’t have to. ‘Cause it always instantly takes me back to those simpler times, and makes me feel all the early to mid-2000s vibes. In the BEST way possible, of course. Which is why I couldn’t wait to talk about this album and the songs from it here with you guys. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get into A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron Carter’s Another Earthquake! Album! ππ€❤️π§‘π€π€π©΅ππ©Ά πΆπΏ
Just a brief note before we begin: There was one bonus song that was included on some other version of Another Earthquake!, and I couldn’t not talk about that song. So, I did add it to the list of songs from this album, and ranked it amongst all the other songs that were included on the original U.S. edition of Another Earthquake!. So, instead of just the original 12 songs, this ranking includes 13 total songs. Hope that makes sense. Now, for real this time, to all the girls (and boys), all the people out in Cali say “Not Another Earthquake!”, drop down shake it down , break it down, here we go, let’s make summertime last a little bit longer, even though it’s technically officially fall now, but it’s America A O, and we can celebrate as if it's still summer if we want to, and let’s finally get into A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron Carter’s Another Earthquake! Album! ππ€❤️π§‘π€π€π©΅ππ©ΆπΆπΏ

Well, that concludes A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron Carter’s Another Earthquake! Album!π π€❤️π§‘π€π€π©΅ππ©Ά πΆπΏI really enjoyed getting to go back and listen to this album, and I hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I did creating it. ‘Cause this is definitely, in my opinion, the BEST album that Aaron Carter released and I just had the BEST time listening to it. It has everything, the simple pop songs that we LOVE, the beautiful and emotional ballads, the fun, feel-good songs, Aaron’s more fast talking/rapping stuff, the early 2000s vibes, and all the NOSTALGIA. And what makes them album even more UNIQUE and a stand-out among Aaron’s previous albums that I’ve already talked about, is that this one also includes some rock elements, too. So, you really get it all with this album. Even a few callbacks to his previous songs from his previous albums. I, for sure, would definitely listen to this album again. And I listened to this whole album three times in the past couple months for this post. Which should say something about how GREAT this album truly is.π
Like I said before, this album is definitely the most NOSTALGIC to me when it comes to Aaron Carter’s whole discography. It will always hold a special place in my heart. There were actually a lot of great songs on this album. Which I wasn’t sure that there would be going into this album re-listen. Going into this I actually was a little worried that I wasn’t going to like this album as much as I did when I was a kid. And that it wasn’t going to be what I remembered at all. But it’s actually everything I remembered it to be and more. I still have my favorite songs that I've always liked since I was a kid, but I also came around to LOVING a few new songs on this album. I was also glad that there are more singing than talking/rapping type songs on this album, because those kinds of songs can get a little annoying sometimes. But for the most part, all the more talking/rapping stuff featured in this album, worked. In other words, you really do get the best of both worlds with this album. The younger Aaron song vibes and the older Aaron song vibes. Like with most albums from any artist, I didn’t LOVE every song on this album. There were still a few misses, but majority of them were GREAT. And the REALLY GREAT ones just really took it over-the-top for me and overshadowed the not-so-good songs so much so that it made me LOVE this album more than the others because they were just SO GOOD.
Having said that, a lot of the songs on this album were actually very hard to rank. Especially because I was trying not to go based on nostalgia alone, and I’m actually really proud of myself, because I didn’t just go on nostalgia alone when ranking these songs. 'Cause quite a few songs on this album I actually didn’t remember just from reading the titles of them. But once I heard them again, pressed play on them, most of those songs came back to me and I was like, “Oh, I do remember this song.” And so, again, songs from this album that were once my favorites as a kid weren’t my most favorites now. Except my #1 because that’s just always been my #1 favorite from this whole album. But like I said, I definitely have a few new favorite songs from this album after listening to it again for this.
All in all, I really enjoyed getting to relisten to this album, and I can’t say that enough. It just made me feel all the feels in all the BEST ways. And I’m actually sad that my time of listening to it is over.π₯²For now at least.π Even though I LIKED Another Earthquake! before, I still sort of found a new LOVE and APPRECIATION for this album after doing this re-listen. ‘Cause I do LOVE it now. I don't just like it. Even if there are a few not-so-great songs on it. But again, that’s majority of albums. Plus, like I said before, the REALLY GREAT songs on this album make up for all the not-so-great ones. Well, now it’s four albums down and one more to go. I can’t wait to get to talk about Aaron Carter’s next album. ‘Cause, all I can say is, that it is one better.π So, make sure you hit that follow button to get notified when my next post goes up, comment down below what your favorite song(s) is/are from Another Earthquake!, and come Back to Disney soon for more FUN, NOSTALGIA, and just GREAT Aaron Carter MUSIC! πππ€❤️π§‘π€π€π©΅ππ©Ά πΆπΏ✌️
P.S. Also, I just want to say, I do not excuse or support the harmful and problematic things Aaron Carter may have done. I have compassion for what he went through and appreciate his talent and music, and I ultimately just choose to remember the good Aaron that was, before all the bad.
