A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Aaron Carter's Most Requested Hits Album

Welcome Back to Disney! πŸ‘‹πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰I hope you enjoyed my last post on A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron’s Carter’s Another Earthquake! Album, and that you’re ready for some more NOSTALGIC FUN down music memory lane.πŸŽΆπŸ’Ώ‘Cause today, as promised in my last post from yesterday, we’re continuing with Aaron Carter’s discography and talking all about his FIFTH album from the early to mid-2000s, Most Requested Hits. So, let’s get into it! πŸŽ‰πŸ’ΏπŸŽΆπŸ€πŸ©·❤️πŸ©ΆπŸ–€

Most Requested Hits is American teen pop singer (at the time) Aaron Carter’s FIRST compilation album and fourth album under Jive Records. But, it’s really his FIFTH album overall. It was released on November 4, 2003, with songs on the album recorded from 2000-2003. This compilation album doesn’t include any tracks from Aaron Carter’s 1997 self-titled debut album. So, in other words, you will find that most of the songs on this album are ones that can also be found on 2000’s Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), 2001’s Oh Aaron, and 2002’s Another Earthquake. While there are four songs included on this compilation album that were NEW, ORIGINAL tracks: “She Wants Me”, featuring Aaron’s older brother Nick Carter, “One Better”, “My Shorty”, and “One Better” the remix. The genre of this album is mostly pop, pop-rap, and dance-pop. And there isn’t much other information that I could find about this album online. I guess, it didn’t do that well. But, I enjoyed listening to this album. It’s definitely not Aaron Carter’s worst album that he put out.

So, now I’ll just talk about my memories associated with this album. How I came to find out about it and all.😊Basically, like with all of the albums that Aaron released in the early to mid-2000s, I didn’t know anything about this album in 2003 because I was only seven-years-old. And, yeah, I just didn’t know about him at that time, or any of his music. Except, I probably did know a little bit about his song “I Want Candy” back then, because I did watch Lizzie McGuire at that time and I was a big fan of that show. So I’m sure that’s probably also the time when I had FIRST seen the ICONIC Lizzie McGuire Christmas episode that Aaron was on when he performed that specific song. But I still didn’t really know who he was. Until, a couple of years later (in 2005) when, like I’ve mentioned many times now in my last few posts, my older sister got two of his CDs and we went to our FIRST EVER CONCERT which was Aaron Carter. As he performed at the Six Flags where my family and I lived at the time.

Even when I went through my Backstreet Boys phase later in my teens, and I went back to watch Aaron Carter’s old stuff, for some reason I never listened to this whole compilation album of his. I feel like I remember seeing the cover of this album back then, and maybe even watching the video clip of Aaron singing “One Better”, but I’m not really sure.πŸ€”Though, I must have, because when listening to “One Better” for this post, I definitely felt like I remembered listening to it before and seeing that scene of him singing it for that movie. So, I don’t really know a specific time when all that happened. But, when it comes to this album as a whole, this was definitely my FIRST TIME listening to it all the way through from beginning to end. Obviously, by the time I got to this compilation album for this post, I already knew majority of the songs from it because they are mostly just songs from Aaron Carter’s previous albums that I had already listened to first. But, the other four new, original songs I didn’t know as well. So, I was very excited to listen to this album, to get to hear those four new songs in their entirety, and to see what songs from Aaron’s previous albums were even included on this compilation album and considered to be his “most requested hits”. To be honest, I wasn’t going to even make a post talking about this album at first, just because I saw it was a compilation album, and thought there weren’t any new songs so what would be the point. But, of course, then when I saw that there actually are a few new, original songs on this album I just had to include it on the blog, because why not? Plus, any chance to get to listen to some of Aaron Carter’s BEST songs, I’m always down for.😊So, what are we waiting for? Let’s finally get into A Definitive Ranking of Every Song from Aaron Carter’s Most Requested Hits Album! πŸŽ‰πŸ’ΏπŸŽΆπŸ€πŸ©·❤️πŸ©ΆπŸ–€

Well, that concludes A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Aaron Carter’s Most Requested Hits Album!πŸŽ‰πŸ€πŸ©·❤️πŸ©ΆπŸ–€ πŸŽΆπŸ’ΏI really enjoyed getting to listen to this album for what seemed like the VERY FIRST TIME, and I hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I did creating it. ‘Cause this was actually a GREAT album. Even though it is just a compilation album, and I don’t always love or care to listen to such albums, because I’d rather just go listen to the original album that the songs came from, but at least there were four new, original songs included on this compilation album. And it was also interesting to see songs from all of Aaron’s different albums through the previous years combined and to see where some of those BEST, MOST ICONIC songs stacked up against each other. So, in other words, ranking all of the songs on this album was fun and interesting for different reasons.

I still didn’t love EVERY song on this album, and I feel like there were definitely a few better Aaron Carter hits they could have included, but they got most of them right and it still made for a good album play.πŸ‘Not surprisingly, the songs that were my most favorites on Aaron’s other albums in which each song came from, were still some of my MOST FAVORITES from this album. I just had to add the few new songs featured on this album to the ranking, which didn’t surprise me really at all where I ended up ranking those. I did find a couple of new favorite songs after listening to this album as well. Which, is always a plus, and what you usually want after listening to any album.

Having said all that, I wouldn’t mind listening to this album again. Well, mostly just for the two new songs I LOVE from it, because when it comes to the other songs from his other albums I would still rather just go back and listen to those specific albums. But, I would highly suggest anyone to listen to this album who hasn't. If for nothing else, at least to hear the few new songs that you might like, that you can’t hear on Aaron’s other albums. Plus, since the songs on this album are considered Aaron Carter’s MOST REQUESTED HITS, if you’re new to being a fan of Aaron’s music, or you just want to listen to his GREATEST HITS, then this is the BEST album to start with. Since it gives you a taste or sense of what most of what all his other albums and songs are all about.

After listening to all of these albums by Aaron Carter, most of them multiple times and a couple for the first time ever, I really have to say I do think Aaron’s music is underrated. I mean, yes some of the songs are, I guess, “kiddish”, but he was a kid when he recorded most of these albums, and for the time that it was when these albums came out it all worked. Plus, it’s rare for any album to have every song be a BANGER. But also, there are quite A LOT of songs on these albums that are still GREAT and AMAZING and actually very deep and thought-provoking and really do make you feel something. Songs that you absolutely can still enjoy listening to as an adult. At least I do.😊

Like I’ve also said before at the start of this series of posts, I do believe Aaron Carter paved the way for all the teen boy heartthrobs/pop stars that came after him. Justin Bieber for example. And again, this is coming from someone who’s always been a huge Justin Bieber fan.πŸ’œBut you have to give credit where credit is due. Again, I’m a fan of both Aaron Carter and Justin Bieber when it comes to their music. Well, majority of their music. And this is again coming from someone who really wasn't even the generation of Aaron Carter, but still somehow got to experience a bit of that time of him being a big deal. As I was the Justin Bieber generation. A teen at the same time when Justin Bieber rose to fame and was in his prime. I also just have to say that I enjoyed watching Aaron’s old performances that he did for a lot of these songs from these old albums, and seeing that he didn’t lip sync, like EVER. ‘Cause not a lot of that is happening nowadays when it comes to artists. AND he danced while singing live at the same time, A LOT. So major props to him. Again, it just shows how talented he was and what a true artist he was. Aaron Carter's music will definitely live on in my house.

And with that, we’ve now come to not only the end of this post but the end of Aaron Carter’s discography, which is bittersweet.πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜žAaron did release two more compilation albums in 2006, Come Get It: The Very Best of Aaron Carter and 2 Good 2 B True, but I chose not to post about those just because there aren’t any new songs on them that I haven’t already mentioned in these last four album posts. But if you just can’t get enough of these very NOSTALGIC, early and mid-2000s Aaron Carter songs, I created a playlist on Spotify with ALL of the songs from ALL of Aaron Carter’s albums I’ve posted about, so that you can easily access them and continue the celebration of his music whenever you want. Again, this might be the last Aaron Carter album post well, it is), but don’t worry, because I have many more albums from notable singers to post about that I’m sure we were all fans of at some point during our childhood/teenhood. So, make sure you hit that follow button to get notified when my next post goes up, comment down below what your favorite song(s) is/are from Aaron Carter's Most Requested Hits, and come Back to Disney soon for more FUN, NOSTALGIA, and just GREAT MUSIC! πŸ‘‹πŸŽ‰πŸ€πŸ©·❤️πŸ©ΆπŸ–€ πŸŽΆπŸ’Ώ✌️

Oh, and don't sign off just yet, because like I’ve done at the end of all the other album posts I’ve done this year, whenever I finish re-listening/listening to ALL the albums from each artist, I then like to share my official ranking of ALL of them. So, I’ll do that now.😊 Aaron Carter’s discography goes like this for me:

(from MOST to LEAST favorite)…

#1 Another Earthquake (2002) - I LOVE this album slightly more than #2, because it’s the MOST NOSTALGIC to me, but I also LOVE a lot of the songs on it. Some of my FAVORITE songs ever from Aaron Carter are on this album. And this album just has the best of both Aarons. You get the more rapping songs and the beautiful, more deep and thought-provoking ballad songs. You also get all the early 2000s vibes and multiple different genres of songs.

#2 Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) (2000) - A very close second to my #1 favorite album. There’s a lot of ICONIC and UNFORGETTABLE songs on this album, as well. This album is also very NOSTALGIC, and it just really captures those early 2000s childhood vibes and memories. It really started it all. Even though it technically wasn’t Aaron’s first album. but it feels that way in all the BEST ways.

#3 Aaron Carter (1997) - Just ranked a little lower, because I don’t have a lot of nostalgia when it comes to this album, but it couldn’t have been a better debut album. It actually has a lot of GREAT songs, and it has the most ballad-y type songs than any of his other albums, which I LOVE and APPRECIATE. It’s just such a CUTE album. And you gotta love all the 90s vibes, which isn’t present in his other albums because they were 2000 and 2000-something releases.

#4 Most Requested Hits (2003) - Even though this is just a compilation album, it has most of all the good songs from all of his other albums, and I even LOVE the new song this album gave us, “One Better”, because it’s literally one of Aaron’s BEST songs ever.

#5 Oh Aaron (2001) - I mean, I feel really bad for putting this album last because it gave us Aaron Carter’s BEST SONG EVER, “I’m All About You”. But, when compared to all of Aaron’s other albums on this list, there is just not as many good songs on this one. And it has more of the talking/rapping songs. Less of Aaron really singing, which I prefer to hear. It also has the most collabs with other artists, and it just felt like a lot of the songs were ads for shows and movies. Which I get it, he was just getting his bag, but still.

P.S. Also, I just want to say, I do not excuse or support the harmful and problematic things Aaron Carter may have done. I have compassion for what he went through and appreciate his talent and music, and I ultimately just choose to remember the good Aaron that was, before all the bad
