A RANKING OF EVERY CONCERT PERFORMANCE FROM THE DISNEY CHANNEL GAMES

Welcome Back to Disney! I hope you enjoyed my last post where I created A Ranking of Every First Episode from a Disney Channel Show Part 3. Since we're still in the midst of summer I thought it would be fun to look back and watch all the ICONIC concert performances from the ICONIC thing that was the Disney Channel Games. I mean, when it comes to Disney, what screams SUMMER more than the Disney Channel Games, am I right? If you were a kid during what I believe to be the BEST ERA of Disney Channel (the years 2006 to 2008), then you know exactly what the Disney Channel Games were/are. But, for those of you who weren't kids/teens during that iconic era of Disney Channel, then I'll just give you a brief explanation of what the Disney Channel Games were. Basically, every summer from 2006 to 2008 (and eventually again in 2011 with the Friends For Change Games; which was also just as iconic and memorable to me as the original DC Games), Disney Channel would bring together various stars from all of its TV series at the time to be formed into teams and compete in various different games to win for their charity. If you remember having field day as a kid in elementary school, then this is basically that whole idea. It was a field day for them and for us as viewers watching it every summer it was just as fun, especially once they started including concert performances from some of our favorite Disney Channel stars (some who were also playing in the games). I've always been a big music lover, so these concert performances were everything to me as a kid watching the DC Games. Sometimes they were the BEST and most exciting part of the whole show.

So, that's why I wanted to rank all the concert performances (at least all the ones I could find) for the simple fact that the Disney Channel Games was one of the BIGGEST, if not THE BIGGEST, Disney Channel summer event of the year and was a memorable moment in my childhood when it comes to all things Disney Channel. I had to mention the DC Games in some way on this blog and I thought this would be the best way to do it because summer is not only about all the fun, sun, food, great movies, friends, water, and games but it's also all about the MUSIC, as well. I mean who doesn't love a good summer concert? I know, I do. So, what are we waiting for? Get your dancing feet ready and your singing voices warmed up and let's get into A Ranking of Every Concert Performance from the Disney Channel Games. πŸŽ¬πŸŽΆπŸŽ€πŸŽΈπŸŽΉπŸ€⚽πŸŒžπŸ†πŸ’¦πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›

Just a brief note before I begin: I know I said that the Disney Channel Games started in 2006 and went until 2008 (and then technically again in 2011), but sadly there were no concert performances the first year in 2006 nor in 2011. :( There were only concert performances during the 2007 and 2008 Disney Channel Games. Don't worry though, because there were over 20 great performances between the two years combined and they are all included on this list. Also, there were a few concert performances that I could not find videos of that I will give a quick shout out to here and those are:

"Girl Power" performed by The Cheetah Girls (2007 DC Games)

"Year 3000" performed by The Jonas Brothers (2007 DC Games)

"Push It To The Limit" performed by Corbin Bleu (2007 DC Games)

"She Could Be" performed by Corbin Bleu (2007 DC Games)

Most of those performances were unaired on the actual show anyways and just played during commercial breaks on the channel; but you will be seeing some of the performances that I mention below that were also not aired on the actual DC Games show, but that I was still able to find videos for. Hope that makes sense. Now for real this time, let's get into A Ranking of Every Concert Performance from the Disney Channel Games

(from least to most favorite)....

#22 "My Shoes" performed by Jordan Pruitt (DC Games 2008)

The 2008 DC Games really had some of the best performances and this one in particular is good, just when compared to all the others on this list, it's not my most favorite. This performance was one that aired on the show at the end of Episode 3 and is the only aired performance by Jordan Pruitt from the two that she had at the 2008 DC Games. This is a song that I had never heard before doing this, even though I know I watched the DC Games at that time, I had no recollection of ever hearing this song before doing this. This performance had to rank the lowest mainly because the song is not the best when compared to all the others on this ranking and I also don't really think that the video montage they use during her performance fits the song really well. I feel like they only included the montage of clips from the games in the performance to make it more interesting to watch because, no offense or anything, but there's nothing really going on onstage except for her walking around singing. Again, don't get me wrong, I think the song is still a good song and it's great if she didn't want dancers or anything else with her onstage; but the other performances from the DC Games that did have those extra little things obviously ranked higher on this list for that reason. I just don't think the song is the right fit for the whole theme and vibe of the DC Games. Overall, again, it's a good song and her vocals are great but just when compared to all the other performances on this ranking this one is the most boring one to watch.

#21 "That's How You Know" performed by Demi Lovato (DC Games 2008)

Much like the previous performance I mentioned, this performance also did not originally air on the 2008 DC Games. It only aired during commercials on the channel. Demi Lovato performed two solo performances and one duet at the 2008 DC Games. This performance of hers is my least favorite of the three, as you can see, just because of the song. In other words, this isn't my favorite song that she performs at the DC Games. I was already familiar with this song before doing this, cause I remember it being from the Disney movie Enchanted; but I didn't remember it being Demi Lovato's version in that movie, so I was kind of surprised to hear her sing this song. I really do like this song and the message of it but just like the previous song and performance I mentioned, I don't think this song/performance fits the whole theme and vibe of the DC Games. As it's a romantic, love song and I just wouldn't think of this song/performance first when thinking of the DC Games. However, I still would prefer to listen to this song and watch this performance over the previous one. I like how even though she changed the whole vibe of the original version of this song from the movie to like a more rock n roll type sound and vibe, you still get that Disney Princess song feeling, which is great and just gives you those happy, warm good feelings while listening to it and while watching this performance. Again, it's a cute song and she sings it great but there are even better DC Games performances on this list, in my opinion.

#20 "Deal With It" performed by Corbin Bleu (DC Games 2007)

This is the only Disney Channel Games performance by Corbin Bleu that aired on the show in 2007. I remember watching the DC Games on TV at that time but I had no recollection of ever seeing this performance nor did I remember ever hearing this song that he sings during it before doing this. The only main reason why I decided to rank this performance above the previous one is because it has a lot of dancing which just makes the performance more fun and interesting to wanna watch. As he's not just onstage by himself, he has a lot of dancers behind him. I also like that this performance takes place outside during the day where the games are being held. As I can't tell if all the 2008 DC Games performances (like the two I already mentioned above) actually took place inside or outside like this one, but it definitely wasn't during the day. The 2008 DC Games performances took place during the night, unless again they were just inside a dark stadium area, so this outside during the day performance gives off even more of those summer vibes. Again, I just like the whole vibe of this performance better than the previous one. You can dance along to it more and the song is a lot more catchy. 'Cause this song did get stuck in my head a few times after watching it over and over for this ranking. Although I have to say, at first I had no idea what he was singing at some points during the song/performance, especially during the chorus. The whole time it sounded like he was saying "So, just do it" but he's clearly not singing that because that's not the title of the song. I don't know, but I still enjoy watching this performance anyways and I would watch it again just for fun. Watch the clip below and let me know if you understand every word he's singing, because I sure didn't at first which almost affected my ranking of this performance.

#19 "Cheetah Love" performed by The Cheetah Girls (DC Games 2008)

This is one out of three songs that the Cheetah Girls performed at the 2008 DC Games. This is also the only unaired performance from them. In other words, it only played during commercial breaks, not on the actual airing of the show. I chose to rank this performance above the previous ones I mentioned just because I love the song more but also because...I mean, it's the CHEETAH GIRLS. I love that GIRL POWER on stage. This performance, like every Cheetah Girls performance, has the most energy and a lot of dancing/choreography, which I love. Obviously, this song that they perform is also more nostalgic to me as well more than any of the previous ones I mentioned. The performance of this song is also interesting because they change up the song a bit at the beginning from the original way they sing it in the movie. If you've seen The Cheetah Girls: One World movie and loved this song, then you will love this performance, as well. It doesn't disappoint. It's a high energy performance that makes you just want to sing and dance along with them.

#18 "Get Back" performed by Demi Lovato (DC Games 2008)

This is the other solo performance by Demi Lovato from the 2008 DC Games that I mentioned earlier. This is another performance that was unaired on the actual show but played during commercial breaks on the channel. I decided to rank this performance higher than the previous one just because I like the song a little bit more. So, although there's no dancing or anything extra special during her performance of this song, I still really like this performance more than the others I just mentioned previously. Sometimes less is more and that is this performance. I was also already familiar with this song before doing this although I hadn't seen this particular performance of it by her before. Or at least for what I can remember before doing this, because again I did watch the DC Games at that time but don't remember ever seeing this performance during commercials or anything. Yeah, so there's really not much I have to say about this performance, except that it's good and you can see why below.

#17 "One Love" performed by Jordan Pruitt (DC Games 2008)

Okay, so if you know me than you know that I LOVE this song and I've actually talked about this song and particular performance before on this blog, which you can read more about here. Having said that, where this performance ranks on this list doesn't change my overall love for this song or even this performance, because I still do really love both. This performance was really, extremely hard for me to rank on this list because I love this song so much and this performance of it in particular has always been one of the most memorable to me. It was this exact performance that introduced me to this song. I remember seeing this performance as a kid and I've loved this song ever since. So, I feel kind of bad having to rank this performance a lot lower than I initially thought I would have, but just when truly compared to all the other performances I will be mentioning later this one is not the best. I really did try to rank the overall performances and not just the songs themselves on this list and so ultimately that's why this performance had to rank here at #17. I decided to rank this performance above the previous one just because it is more nostalgic to me and because the song is better, but I also ranked it a lot lower than all the ones that I'll be mentioning later because it's missing some elements that the later performances I will be mentioning have. In other words, it just doesn't have the whole package. Again, this is still a great song and a great performance that gives me all the feels, just when compared to all the others I will be mentioning it's not the better of them. Also, I always thought that this performance actually aired on the show (the 2008 DC Games), so I was surprised to find out that it was an unaired performance. I guess I just saw it during Disney Channel's commercial breaks as a kid, but I know I remember seeing it on the channel and it always stuck with me. This is a performance that I would definitely choose to watch again and sing along every time (even if it is just in my head (: )

#16 "Dance Me If You Can" performed by The Cheetah Girls (DC Games 2008)

This is another one of the three 2008 DC Games performances by the Cheetah Girls. This performance actually did air on the show in the last episode of the games. If you remember from one of my earlier posts, where I ranked Every Song from The Cheetah Girls: One World, then you know that this song that they sing during this performance is my second most favorite song from the whole movie. So, of course, I love any performance of theirs with this song. I mostly love this performance more than the previous one because there's a lot of dancing and it's even more of a high energy performance. You can tell that they are having a good time performing which just makes you enjoy watching the performance even more. It's another great performance that just makes me want to sing and dance along. The only thing that I don't like about this performance is that it's way too short. Well, just that they actually cut the song short and therefore the performance. In fact, it's actually the shortest performance from the DC Games on this ranking, which is kind of a bummer but it's still a great performance nonetheless.

#15 "So Bring It On" performed by The Cheetah Girls (DC Games 2007)

This is one of the two performances by the Cheetah Girls at the 2007 DC Games and a good one at that. I actually had no recollection of ever seeing this performance when it originally aired on Disney Channel. However, it was another one of those unaired performances from the 2007 DC Games. First of all, I just have to say that I love Adrienne's outfit during this performance and Kiely's. 'Cause the outfits are always a big part of a performance, especially this one. I mean, I may or may not have only ranked this performance above the previous one just because of the outfits. No, but for real, I really do love this performance. I love the song and I love that there's a lot of dancing during this performance (there's no Cheetah Girls performance without some kind of dancing), even flipping on stage. This performance just makes me happy and it makes me smile more and it also makes me laugh a little too (in a good way), especially when they sing the pre-chorus part of the song. I don't know why but that part is just a little funny to me. I also love the little instrumental dance break that they do during this performance. Again, you can just see that they are having a good time onstage which just makes you enjoy watching the performance even more.

#14 "Hold On" performed by the Jonas Brothers (DC Games 2007)

This is one of three performances by the Jonas Brothers from the 2007 DC Games. I was already very familiar with this song before watching this performance for this post, but I had never seen this performance of theirs before, because this was an unaired performance from the 2007 DC Games and I had no recollection of ever seeing this during commercials or anything when it originally aired on Disney Channel. I not only really love this song from the Jonas Brothers but I am also just really entertained by any performance that they do because they really get into every performance (at least all the performances that I've seen from them). I love the message of this song and I really wanted to rank this performance higher just for the song itself but looking at the overall performance, there are better DC Games performances by them that I will be mentioning later. This performance is also unique from all the previous ones I mentioned before because each of the boys play their own instrument on the stage (Kevin and Nick with the guitar and Joe with his tambourine (which I love by the wayπŸ˜‚)) along with the band behind them. The Jonas Brothers just really know how to play to the audience, this performance being no exception, which just makes their performances some of the best. This is a performance that I had to watch over and over in order to do this ranking and I would definitely watch it again.

#13 "S.O.S." performed by the Jonas Brothers (DC Games 2008)

This is another great performance by the Jonas Brothers from the 2008 DC Games. This is also another unaired performance from the show and therefore one that I had no recollection of ever seeing before doing so for this post. However, I was very familiar with this song that they perform because this has always been one of my favorite songs from the Jonas Brothers. This song is not as serious as the previous one I mentioned and therefore their performance of it is more upbeat and high energy than the previous performance I mentioned, which is also why I ranked it higher than that one. I love that during this performance they're still playing their own, individual instruments (Joe with the tambourine again πŸ˜‚) which just adds an extra fun element to the overall performance. They are even a little more interactive with the audience during this performance than the previous one, as they encourage them to clap and jump along with them to the song, which I just love.

#12 "Kids of the Future" performed by the Jonas Brothers (DC Games 2007)

Okay, when I tell you that I'm so happy that I came across this performance, I'm SO HAPPY I did because it's a great one. This is another unaired performance by the Jonas Brothers from the 2007 DC Games and one that I had no recollection of ever seeing before doing this. I was a little familiar with this song that they perform here before ever doing this post because I do remember as a kid this being the song they sang for the Meet the Robinsons movie. I specifically remember seeing the music video for this song on Disney Channel when I was a kid. You also know it's for the movie because they mention the Robinsons in the song. So, although this song/performance was probably just to promote the movie, it still makes sense for the DC Games because it's all about, as the title suggests "kids being the future" I don't know, but it's a great song and this performance is even greater than the song itself. Speaking of the song itself, I don't necessarily love this song more than the previous one(s) but I love this performance and that's what this post is all about, the performances. I love the chanting, the saying "Are you ready to rock?" at the beginning, the strobing, flashing lights, and the na na na's (which is my most favorite part of the whole thing). This is just one of the most hype, high energy, fun performances from the DC Games and most definitely one of my favorites. It will definitely get your feet stomping and your head banging, at least it does for me every time that I watch it. Again, their energy on stage during this performance is just contagious even just by watching it through the screen. The song is also very catchy. Definitely a performance from the DC Games that I have forever stuck in my head now and one that I would choose to watch over and over again.

#11 "Burnin' Up" performed by the Jonas Brothers (DC Games 2008)

This is the only aired solo performance by the Jonas Brothers from the 2008 DC Games and obviously my favorite from all their DC Games performances in general. I still remember when this song and music video came out that summer and it was everything at the time. As you know by now from reading this blog, I was never the biggest Jonas Brothers fan but even I loved this song and music video. It's always been the most memorable and one of my favorite Jonas Brothers songs, so of course I love this performance of the song, too. I also have fond memories of seeing this performance from the 2008 DC Games for the first time when I was a kid, as well. So, it's also very nostalgic to me. It's a great song and overall this performance is just great, as well. I always like when they include montage clips during the performances from the games and they also did that during this performance. The montage of clips from the games sprinkled in during this performance actually goes along really well with the song itself. It doesn't really take away from the performance at all but just adds to it and makes me excited to keep watching it. This is just another performance I would choose to watch again for sure even though I feel like I've seen it a million times at this point.

#10 "This Is Me" performed by Demi Lovato & the Jonas Brothers (DC Games 2008)

This is an interesting and unique performance compared to all the others on this list because it's the only duet performance from the DC Games, as Demi starts singing the song but then Joe Jonas comes in and sings with her just like in the movie Camp Rock. Kevin and Nick also come on stage and sing and play in the background. This is one of my all time favorite songs from a DCOM, so of course I had to rank this performance higher just for that reason alone. Although, it doesn't fit the whole vibe of summer and the DC Games, I still love this performance. I just love the nostalgic, good-feeling vibes this performance gives off. This is a performance that aired at the end of Episode 4 from the 2008 DC Games and I had no recollection or memory of ever seeing this exact performance as a kid before ever doing this but I do remember watching it back as a teenager when I found it on YouTube and then I saw it again a couple years ago when the show was added to Disney Plus. It's just a great performance that's obviously pretty iconic. I mean who doesn't love a Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers collab moment. Camp Rock had also just been released around the same time of this exact performance, so I'm sure it was even more of an exciting and iconic performance then, as well. Watching it back now you still feel that excitement. As this performance still holds up today.

#9 "One World" performed by The Cheetah Girls (DC Games 2008)

This is one of those performances that was really hard to rank because I do love this performance a lot and it is one of the most memorable DC Games performances. I wanted to rank this performance at #1 because when you think of the DC Games this performance is one of the first ones that comes to mind (at least it does mine) and it greatly defines what the games were all about (especially the 2007 and 2008 DC Games), which is about people from all over the world coming together to have fun while making a difference at the same time and meanwhile in the process learning about one another's different cultures and traditions. This song that the Cheetah Girls sing during this performance greatly captures all of that. Fortunately, this performance did air on the show and what's great and most unique about this performance is that not only are the Cheetah Girls singing this song "One World" but all of the other Disney Channel stars who were a part of the games that year join in with them on stage. It's truly a big grand performance for a big grand finale. As this is the last performance ever from the DC Games. It is the last performance on the last episode of the show. This performance just makes me smile and makes me really happy to watch any time I watch it, because again it was what the DC Games was all about; fun, unity, and celebration. I wish I could have ranked this performance higher but no song or performance can beat the next few songs/performances that I will be mentioning for many different reasons.

#8 "Strut" performed by The Cheetah Girls (DC Games 2007)

This is one of my most favorite Cheetah Girls performances from the DC Games of any year because I mean any song/performance from The Cheetah Girls 2 movie is ICONIC and a must-watch. This is my favorite song from the movie and therefore why I love this performance so much. I just couldn't put "One World" above this song because I love it too much, even though this ranking is not all about just the songs. I mean right when I hear Adrienne sing the first line of this song I get hype instantly and all the nostalgia starts running through my mind and that is exactly what this performance does, even though I had no special memory of ever seeing this performance before doing this, it still gives me those nostalgic feels just because of the song. Again, I just LOVE this song and is kind of mainly why I ranked this performance above all the previous ones, but I also love everything else about this performance as well from the fashion to the dancing, just EVERYTHING. I also like how they changed up the part when they sing the third verse, which is unique and different. I can't help but want to sing and dance along to this performance every time I watch it. It's just the best, but not THE BEST, 'cause we still have some more great performances to go.

#7 "See You Again" performed by Miley Cyrus (DC Games 2008)

I'm sorry, but no song/performance can beat a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana song/performance, especially when it comes to Disney and the DC Games. This is one of three performances by Miley Cyrus from the 2008 DC Games. Although, this performance is technically ranked as my least favorite of the three performances of hers from the 2008 DC Games, it is not a bad performance at all. This was another one of those unaired performances from the show, but that of course aired during commercial breaks on the channel. You will see that Miley Cyrus actually performed this song two years in a row for the DC Games and it was extremely difficult to choose my favorite performance of the song out of the two just because they are both pretty similar, but one is more energetic and has more choreography that tells the story a little bit better in my opinion, and this performance is not that one. But again, don't get me wrong, because I still love this performance and think it's great. Just the next one I will be mentioning is a little better. Each performance of this song also gives off a different vibe and I do think that the vibe of this performance makes the song seem more dark and mysterious. As she's wearing all white in this performance while her background dancers are wearing all black and even the light screen in the back gives off a mesmerizing feel and it's also like a black and white checkered color, which really just helps bring you into the performance even more and get that vibe. Again, I just love this song that she sings during this performance. It's really catchy and fun to sing and dance along to, as well as super nostalgic to me. She also does dance during this performance but it does seem more put together in a natural way and less rehearsed like the next one I will be mentioning, which I also really like about this performance.

#6 "See You Again" performed by Miley Cyrus (DC Games 2007)

This is one of two performances by Miley Cyrus from the 2007 DC Games Closing Ceremony and one that was unaired on the show. Like I mentioned before, it just aired during commercials on the channel. This is the better performance of "See You Again" from the DC Games, in my opinion, just because it's more fun of a performance with all the dancing and everything. Even the outfit is iconic and just goes well with the whole fun, carefree vibe. She also seems a lot more energetic during this performance which just makes me enjoy watching it even more. You can feel that energy from her in a way while watching this performance. Speaking of the dancing, even though the dancing during this performance of the song seems a little more rehearsed and less natural, I still love it a lot more than the previous one. I also love how she uses the whole stage when she performs which she does in all of her performances, even the previous one I mentioned, so it's not just this one but I had to mention that. Another difference of this performance of "See You Again" compared to the previous one is that her background dancers are all female instead of male (as they were in the previous performance) and I like that because it's like she's with her friends and then the guy comes on stage towards the end. I don't know, but I just think that that along with the choreography helped tell the story/meaning of the song in a different way and in a better way. Again, with this performance of the song you get more fun, playful, and happy vibes while the previous performance of the song gives off a bit more of darker, mysterious vibe. I love both, but I prefer this performance. This is definitely a must-watch, memorable performance and one I would choose to watch again, 'cause it never gets old. Also, although it doesn't look like it in this video, Miley did sing this song live but for some reason you can see that they replaced the audio with the non-live Meet Miley Cyrus album version. Either way, live or not, you get the gist of this performance and it's great. It's an iconic performance for an iconic, unforgettable song.

πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’š

Here's a side-by-side of both "See You Again" performances by Miley Cyrus. Which one do you like the best?

πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’š

#5 "G.N.O" performed by Miley Cyrus (DC Games 2007)

This is the other song that Miley sang at the 2007 DC Games Closing Ceremony and one that actually aired on the show. One of the reasons why I ranked this performance higher than the previous one is because of the song. I do love this song more than the previous one. I mean who doesn't love a girl power anthem and it's like THE sleepover party song of ALL sleepover party songs. I don't know, but I just always think of girls' night sleepover when I hear this song, which also just goes along really well with the whole DC Games, summer vibes. This is a very nostalgic song and a very unforgettable performance from the DC Games. This is another great performance I just can't help but want to sing and dance along to. It's such a fun performance to watch. This song and performance sucks you in right from the very beginning. Also again, I just have to say that her outfit during this performance is ICONIC and so 2007, which I love. Even though, in my opinion, it doesn't really match at all, I always loved her outfit during this performance and honestly kind of still do. Someone should bring this style back. Overall, this performance (like majority of Miley Cyrus's performances at the DC Games) just makes me so happy and nostalgic. I can't help but smile every time I see it.

#4 "Nobody's Perfect" performed by Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) (DC Games 2007)

This is an iconic performance from Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) during the 2007 DC Games Opening Ceremony. Although, this performance was unaired on the actual show and only played during commercials, I still remember this performance from my childhood. As I do remember seeing this performance during commercial breaks on Disney Channel. Obviously, I'm ranking the overall performance and not just the song itself, because if I was ranking the performance just based on the song this performance would have definitely gone at #1. So, the only reason why I ranked this performance a little lower than the others that I will be mentioning later, is simply because I have seen better performances by Hannah Montana of this song and this isn't the best or most memorable concert performance from Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) at the 2007 DC Games. In other words, just when compared to all the other performances that I will be mentioning after this one, this one is not the best performance wise (NOT song wise).  But don't get me wrong, 'cause this is still a great performance and not only because she sings one of the most iconic, greatest Hannah Montana hits EVER but also just because of the whole vibe. Again, I love that she is performing this song outside where the DC Games take place. I love that there's dancing moments and the pink and white outfit is iconic in and of itself. This performance just doesn't go wrong. Although, I feel like her energy isn't the most hype during this performance, I still love it. I literally have no other words about how great this performance is. You just have to watch and see for yourself why it's so great and iconic.

#3 "Fly on the Wall" performed by Miley Cyrus (DC Games 2008)

This is the other unaired performance by Miley Cyrus from the 2008 DC Games and one of the most ICONIC and unforgettable performances. Again, if I was just ranking the songs from these performances I would never rank this song before the previous one, "Nobody's Perfect", but this overall performance from the DC Games is just more nostalgic to me which is why I had to rank before the previous performance. I have such fond memories of seeing this performance for the first time on Disney Channel when I was a kid. This was the performance that made me fall in love with this song (not literally fall in love, but you know what I mean, lol). I remember trying to reenact this performance a lot when I was a kid with my little sister (celebrategoodtimesblog.blogspot.com), which would always involve us wearing hoodies, weird sunglasses, and hats. (Lol. We were really trying to go for that undercover look that she does during this performanceπŸ˜ŽπŸ”Ž) So to say the least, this DC Games performance was everything to me as a kid and I can still see why it was looking back, because it still holds up today and is just a fun performance to watch. That's also why I mainly chose to rank this performance higher than all the previous ones on this list because of nostalgic reasons. But I also just really love how unique and different this performance is from a lot of the others on this list. I mean from the dancing, to the props, and even the outfit change, which let me just say I love(d) the whole red jacket and white jeans with the feathered fedora hat look as well as the second vest look that she uncovers underneath all that. I also love how once she unveils the yellow, white, and black vest look it matches with her background dancers really well. You can tell she put her all into this performance which again just makes me enjoy it that much more. It makes me want to sing and dance along right from the start. This performance is just one of the most ICONIC from the DC Games and it never gets old. At least for me it doesn't.

#2 "Life's What You Make It" performed by Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) (DC Games 2007)

I'm so excited to finally get to talk about this performance from the 2007 DC Games Opening Ceremony. Obviously growing up with the show and everything, this is a performance that I already knew very well before going into creating this post. It's the MOST memorable (besides the next one I will be mentioning next) one from my childhood. I still remember when and where I was when I saw this performance on TV on Disney Channel and I was just in awe. This is THE performance that made me LOVE this song even more than I already did after of course having heard it before on the show Hannah Montana. I don't know what it was about this performance that made me love it so much as a kid but I think just that whole era, it being the summer, and I just remember loving her pink and white outfit is what made this DC Games performance EVERYTHING to me as a kid. That feeling of seeing this performance has never changed. As every time that I watch this performance it makes me just as happy and just brings me back instantly to that magical time in my life. This song is also one of my all time favorite Hannah Montana songs. So, although "Nobody's Perfect" is my all time favorite Hannah Montana song this one has always been a close, close second and that's all because of this performance. Also, this performance is a VERY close second to the performance I will be talking about next. I also think that this is the better 2007 DC Games performance by Hannah Montana because it looks like she's having just a little more fun and it's a little more energetic than the "Nobody's Perfect" performance from the 2007 DC Games Opening Ceremony. One of my favorite parts of this performance has always been the little dance break that she and her dancers do during the instrumental break of the song. I love how this song just builds and builds and the performance itself does just that, as well. I also just love the overall positive message of this song that she performs here, as it's all about (as the title suggests) life being what you make it; which is just perfect for the DC Games because the summer is all about what you make of it. I always knew from the very beginning before even doing this post that this performance would hit at the top of my ranking and I never changed my mind about it once. In fact, this performance almost made it to the #1 spot, but there's something even more great about the next performance I'll be mentioning. Again, this is just one of my all time favorite performances out of all of Miley's DC Games performances and all the DC Games performances in general. It never gets old to watch and is one of the most fun to sing and dance along to.

#1 "Breakout" performed by Miley Cyrus (DC Games 2008)

This is the BEST and my MOST FAVORITE performance EVER from the DC Games. Ughh, this performance is just EVERYTHING! It's so hard to put into words what I feel about this AMAZING performance, but I'll try to explain in a few words why I LOVE it so much. First of all, I've always loves this song from Miley Cyrus since I was a kid and I had gotten her Breakout album. I listened to that album on repeat (and I still do sometimes). So, I was already very familiar with this song that she performs here during the 2008 DC Games. This is also another MOST MEMORABLE performance EVER from the DC Games. I mean, how could it not be? I've always loved this performance of Breakout by Miley Cyrus for so many reasons. One main reason being that it PERFECTLY defines and encapsulates that whole no school, ready for summer feeling, which is perfect for the DC Games. In other words, it goes along well with the whole theme and vibe of the DC Games better than any other performance on this list. I love the message of this song that she sings during this performance, too. As it's all about school being out, having fun with your friends, and just being carefree. Her performance goes along perfectly with the lyrics, message, and overall vibe of the song. From the dancing to the outfit, I just love EVERYTHING about this performance. Even the montage clips of the games that are sprinkled in throughout this performance actually fit perfectly well with the song itself and doesn't take away from the overall performance but just greatly adds to it. Honestly, every time I go back and watch this performance it makes me emotional (in the best way), because it just brings me back instantly to that time of my life; being a kid with no worries, it being summer and just truly living carefree lives as kids do and just as you see her do on stage during this performance. Again, this is just the ULTIMATE DC Games performance cause it has everything a great performance should have. There's dancing, a lot of on stage and off stage interaction with the audience, lights, fun fashion, just EVERYTHING! This performance never gets old to watch and the song never gets old to listen to. It just makes me want to sing and dance along every time and for sure gets me in the mood for summer and makes me want to watch the DC Games. I've always associated this song with this DC Games performance because it's that UNFORGETTABLE and just ICONIC. Watch the performance below and you'll see what I mean. :)

Well, that concludes A Ranking of Every Concert Performance from the Disney Channel Games. It was really fun and interesting getting to go back and watch all these performances because some I remembered a lot and knew very well from my childhood while others it was like I was just seeing them for the first time ever. However, I do have to say that after watching all of the concert performances on this ranking I really do truly like and I enjoyed watching all of them (and that's RARE); which made it extremely difficult for me to rank my least and most favorite or the least and most best, because again, they are all really good in their own way. Of course, as you can see from my ranking of these performances, no song/performance can beat a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana song/performance in my eyes. But, what do you think? Let me know in the comments below your favorite DC Games concert performance and come Back to Disney soon for more!πŸ’“πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›
