A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Miranda Cosgrove's Sparks Fly Album (in honor of its 16th Anniversary)

Welcome Back to Disney (& More)!๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽ‰I hope you enjoyed my last post on A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Miranda Cosgrove’s About You Now EP, and that you’re ready for some more NOSTALGIC FUN down music memory lane.๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ๐Ÿฅณ ‘Cause today, as promised, and in honor of its 16th ANNIVERSARY, we’re continuing with Miranda Cosgrove’s ICONIC discography and talking all about her second, but ABSOLUTE BEST album, Sparks Fly. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š✨

Sparks Fly is unfortunately THE ONLY studio album by American actress and singer Miranda Cosgrove, released on April 27, 2010, by Sony Music.๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ฟ๐ŸŽถMiranda Cosgrove began planning this FIRST album with the Columbia label in 2008, after she made her musical debut on the iCarly soundtrack. So, it was recorded from 2008 to 2010. Musically, Sparks Fly is a pop record that incorporates electro-pop and pop-rock elements. Contributions to the album’s production came from several producers, including Max Martin, Rock Mafia, the Matrix, Espionage, Desmond Child and Rivers Cuomo, among others. Very few of those names I’ve heard before, but I’m assuming they’re big names and were probably important to include here for a little history about this album.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š

As I mentioned in my last post, Miranda Cosgrove's musical career first began with her recording the theme song, “Leave It All to Me”, for the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly. A show in which Miranda starred as the titular character.๐Ÿ“บ๐ŸŽถOn June 10, 2008, following the success of iCarly, Columbia Records released a soundtrack album of the show, which included four songs recorded by Miranda Cosgrove. When it came to that soundtrack album, Miranda once stated, “Before that, I didn't see myself making an album, but when I spent time in the studio doing the theme song and saw how much fun it was, I wanted to go back."

So, in July 2008, Miranda Cosgrove officially announced plans for a solo album, stating that the album was "different" from her contributions to the iCarly soundtrack, with her "co-writing and getting really into it," and saying that "[I'm] playing a character on iCarly, but this shows more of myself. Some people might think I'm just another actress putting out an album, but I wanted to prove that I'm more than that." And on February 3, 2009, Miranda Cosgrove released her debut solo recording; the five-song EP About You Now, exclusively onto the iTunes Store. An EP that you can read my thoughts about here.๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’ฟ๐ŸŽถ Then came Sparks Fly. Which as I briefly mentioned before, took two years to make. As Columbia Records’ marketing manager Chris Poppe stated in May 2010 that "Miranda started working on [the album] at 14, and she's 16 now. The difference between those two ages is huge, and the songs have had to grow along with her."

In February 2010, Miranda Cosgrove announced live in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that the album's first single would be titled “Kissin U”.๐ŸŽถ๐ŸฅณWhich was also, apparently, the first time the public had heard of that news. The album's title Sparks Fly comes from the first two words of "Kissin U". On March 12, 2010, the track list, including the four deluxe edition bonus tracks ("Brand New You", "What Are You Waiting For?", "Adored" and "Beautiful Mess"), was announced on Tommy2.net (Whatever that is.๐Ÿคท‍♀️). And the album artwork was revealed a bit later, on March 19, 2010. So the initial, official release of Sparks Fly only included EIGHT songs, but there were five other songs that were released at other times for other editions. One of those other songs being “Adored”, which was actually a free digital download two years BEFORE the album's official release. First as a rough mix, and later as a fully mastered version.๐Ÿ˜ฎ (Which I did not know that until now, having researched a bit about this album.) Another song that wasn’t included on the initial, original release of Sparks Fly, is "Charlie", which was released as a bonus track exclusively on the iTunes deluxe edition of the album.

Miranda Cosgrove has stated that for this album (Sparks Fly) she was trying to find her own style, so the album experiments with several different kinds of music. In an interview, Miranda Cosgrove also stated that she tried to put a little bit of her own flare into each and every song on the album. She described the album's lead single “Kissin U”, as "kind of a really happy, sweet song". When it comes to the main theme(s) of Sparks Fly, it generally deals with love and relationships. To which, apparently, Miranda Cosgrove has stated was unintentional, but she realized this after she had already picked all of the songs on the album.

While it’s an essentially pop album, Sparks Fly exhibits other elements and multi-tracked harmonies. For instance, "Kissin U", "Shakespeare", "Disgusting" and "Charlie" all feature a catchy pop tune. While "Adored", "What Are You Waiting For?" and "Hey You" are more of the pop ballad type. Other harmonies include the electro-pop tracks "BAM", "Oh Oh", "There Will Be Tears" and "Brand New You", the R&B track "Beautiful Mess" and the pop-rock-driven "Daydream". Like I briefly mentioned before, many songs on this album were produced by some of the biggest producers of the time. For instance, "BAM" was produced by Antonina Armato, (A name I’ve mentioned on this blog a few times before, because she has worked with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez), Tim James and Rodney Jerkins (Who apparently have worked with Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Brandy, and Destiny’s Child.). Another GREAT song from this album, “Daydream”, was written by Avril Lavigne. And “Kissin U” and “Oh Oh” were both produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, respectively, and apparently, THE BIGGEST producers of the time.

To no surprise, Sparks Fly was quite successful. As it sold 36,000 copies in its FIRST WEEK, and peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. .๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘In March 2010 (my birthday month๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽ‚), “Kissin U” was released as the sole single from Sparks Fly, and it peaked at #54 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ However, of course, the album did receive mixed reviews from music critics.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ŽWith some complimenting Miranda Cosgrove’s vocal ability and likening it to that of Miley Cyrus. (Which I totally agree with that statement. Miranda Cosgrove’s vocal ability is definitely up there with Miley Cyrus’. I would even go as far as to say that they are two of the GREATEST female vocalists of my generation, for sure.) While others were unimpressed with Sparks Fly, and criticized the production and lyrical content, calling it predictable and unoriginal.๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ‘ŽI know. How dare they? Seriously.

To promote Sparks Fly, Miranda Cosgrove mainly did so through live performances. She performed the single, “Kissin U”, live at the 2010 Kids Choice Awards pre-show. On April 24, 2010, Nickelodeon also apparently aired a TV special titled 7 Secrets: Miranda Cosgrove, which was a half-hour show that revealed things about Miranda Cosgrove, such as how she got her start in the business to some of her most embarrassing moments. (I don’t remember that special. But, okay.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š) The days following the album's release, Miranda Cosgrove also did several album signings and appearances, including a stop at a Toys-R-Us in New York City. She (Miranda Cosgrove) also embarked on a radio promotional tour, and made appearances at radio concerts in the summer of 2010. Miranda Cosgrove performed “Kissin U”, “BAM” and “About You Now” on the Today Show on September 6, 2010. She also performed another song off the album, “Shakespeare”, on a “special” season 4 episode of iCarly titled “iDo”.๐Ÿ“บ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ’™ Where Miranda Cosgrove, in character as Carly Shay, performs the song during a wedding scene. As the bride is having second thoughts about her wedding due to her love for Carly’s older brother, Spencer. The song is sung by Carly to, apparently, remind the couple about how in love they are. And I had to look all of that up, because even though I definitely remember watching that episode  when it premiered, and many other times after that when I was younger, I haven’t watched it in many, MANY years and definitely blocked it out of my memory. So, I did remember her singing that song on the show, but I didn’t remember why she was singing it or anything else about that episode. Now, I've been reminded after doing a bit of research about this album. Her performance of that song was always the BEST part of that episode, though.

Like I briefly mentioned in my last post, Miranda Cosgrove also headlined her own tour in 2011, titled the Dancing Crazy Tour where she promoted both Sparks Fly and her follow-up EP High Maintenance. In fact, the tour was aptly named after her hit single “Dancing Crazy” that was released on her second EP (High Maintenance). And as I also mentioned in my last post, that tour began on January 22, 2011, and ended on August 10, 2011. The tour featured dates in House of Blues locations, such as those located in Houston, Texas and Anaheim, California. Miranda also performed at several theatres on the tour, including locations in cities such as Atlanta, Georgia, Tampa, Florida and Orlando Florida. And accompanying her (Miranda Cosgrove) on the tour was Greyson Chance, who rose to fame on YouTube. The Dancing Crazy Tour was financially successful. The second show on the tour, which took place in Minneapolis, sold about 54% of its tickets, and the show’s total gross revenue was $37,256.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘The fourth show of the tour, which took place in Rosemont, Illinois, was much more successful, selling 90% of the available tickets. The total gross revenue for that show was $118,435.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

As mentioned briefly before, "Kissin U” was the album's lead and ONLY single. Along with being the lead single from Sparks Fly, “Kissin U” and "Adored" were the only two songs that Miranda Cosgrove co-wrote for the album.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘The lyrics as well as the melody of “Kissin U”  were received positively by several music critics. On March 22, 2010, “Kissin U” was released on iTunes, and after hitting the digital tracks chart the previous week, it debuted at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100.๐Ÿ‘The song also eventually peaked at #54.๐Ÿ‘It was Miranda Cosgrove’s FIRST single to chart outside of the U.S., as well.๐Ÿ‘Entering the charts in Germany and Austria, among others.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ In Japan, "Daydream" and "Disgusting" were released exclusively on iTunes as promotional singles.

Like I also mentioned briefly before, the album sold 36,000 copies in its FIRST WEEK, earning it the eighth position on the Billboard 200 chart, on the issue dated May 5, 2010.๐Ÿ‘ And even though Sparks Fly spent one week inside the Top 10, it did fall out the next week, and the album also spent five weeks inside the Top 50, before quickly sliding down. But Sparks Fly had become successful in foreign countries, as well.๐Ÿ‘For instance, in Mexico, the album debuted at #84.๐Ÿ‘Though, the following week, it did fall twelve spots to #96. But the album still sold a lot of copies there.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Sparks Fly was also successful on the music charts in Austria, where it managed to peak inside the Top 50 of the albums chart, entering at #46.๐Ÿ‘It also spent one week on the German album charts, debuting and peaking at  #96.๐Ÿ‘ And on the Swiss album's chart, Sparks Fly peaked inside of the Top 40, debuting at #35.๐Ÿ‘

But as I also briefly mentioned before, despite the album and tour's success, Sparks Fly was still met with a generally mixed reception from critics.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ŽAs Stephen Thomas Erlewine who reviewed the album for AllMusic gave Sparks Fly two out of five stars with a negative review stating that, “Miranda winds up buried underneath the weight of production on Sparks Fly — it often comes across like a cross of Miley Cyrus and Kesha’s full-frontal assault. (Huh?)”๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘ŽHe (Erlewine) also stated that "Sparks Fly is bedecked in modern electronic rhythms and icy hooks, yet the glassy surface sheen flies in the face of the natural charm Cosgrove displays on iCarly and its accompanying soundtrack.” A review in which I totally DISAGREE with.

However, Jeff Giles of Popdose gave Sparks Fly a more positive review, stating "...Sparks Fly is a perfectly bite-sized chunk of perfectly bite-sized pop - In other words, songs about boys and girls, written by men and women, and performed by some of the sharpest studio vets in the business."๐Ÿ‘ Greg Victor of Parcbench also gave Sparks Fly, as well as Miranda Cosgrove herself, a positive review, stating that "It is brilliantly produced and won’t let you down if you are looking for some fun, new, uncomplicated music."๐Ÿ‘He also commented on Miranda Cosgrove as an artist, saying "She is a fresh voice that stands out in an over-crowded field of pop princesses.”๐Ÿ‘ And the review ended with Greg Victor awarding Sparks Fly three out of four stars. Sparklingstar.net also gave Sparks Fly a positive review, stating that "Sparks Fly has that classic pop album sound and songs, if you are a fan of Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears you will be a fan of Miranda. One thing I must say is that her voice sounds great throughout the entire CD, and she took it to find songs that fit her voice."๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Commonsensemedia.org gave Sparks Fly a mixed review with three out of five stars, saying "Formulaic at best, painfully predictable at its worst, Sparks Fly could only be appealing to the youngest of ears, not jaded by hundreds of similarly sounding releases. Miranda Cosgrove does bring a unique sincerity to this bubblegum love-in (Huh?), and despite the forgettable accompanying pop instrumental, her message comes through loud and clear. With a dash of spunky attitude she saves the CD from completely drowning in a sea of sweetness." A review in which I mostly disagree with, because this album is not painfully predictable or formulaic, it's actually a stand-out and quite unique, and people of all ages can enjoy it. But, yes, I do agree that Miranda's unique sincerity and spunky attitude does make this album GREAT. Starletinc.com was also mixed in their review of the album, saying that, “This is a first attempt by Miranda as a recording artist and she did quite alright. It still lacks a little bit of identity, but that isn’t anything shocking for a sixteen year old, especially when they’re main trade is actress rather than recording artist [...] While it all isn’t anything special it’s still enjoyable enough to listen to." And the review ended with them giving Sparks Fly three out of five stars. Quite alright? This album is more than alright. It DOESN'T lack identity, and is VERY SPECIAL.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

In their review of the album, Portrait Magazine stated Sparks Fly would target teenagers, saying, “The verdict on Miranda's musical effort is, like her album, a little confusing. I don't think she's quite at the point of being on mainstream radio; she's got a little bit of work to do before that. But her bubblegum tracks are good enough to be played on children's radio stations, like Radio Disney, for example. Her current sound, the mixture of club beats and the sugary sweet pop, will probably hit well with the younger end of her audience. I just don't know if anyone over the age of thirteen is going to want to listen to her album all that often. Tracks like “Disgusting” will probably land well with older teens, but when they can listen to its writer on the radio already, I don't see the need for them to buy this album.” Another review that I totally DISAGREE with. 'Cause Sparks Fly is NOT confusing at all, it's totally mainstream-worthy, not the typical bubblegum-pop you always hear, and it hits well with audiences of all ages. Like me, for instance. Someone who's in her 20's and still listening and enjoying this album.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿซถ

TeenInk praised the lyrical content and friendly nature of the music in Sparks Fly, stating, "Any girl would love this album because it is upbeat and describes the way most girls feel when they are in love. Sparks Fly is a wonderful CD because it is upbeat, and has music that is very easy to relate to. Love may hurt and break your heart, but this album is sure to put a smile on your face." And they later went on to say, "The album Sparks Fly has a good musical beat and positive lyrics. The song BAM is fast-paced and is an easy song to relate to. [...] This song is saying that once you find the one person that you love everything else doesn't matter, because the only thing that's important is being with the one that you love."๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘AGREED.

Erin Clendaniel of Billboard also gave the album three out of five stars and said in her mixed review, "Full of saccharin-sweet pop riffs and head-bobbing beats that one would expect from a Nickelodeon TV actress, iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove's debut album, Sparks Fly, delivers the total tween package. Production from the Matrix and Espionage, among others, enhances Cosgrove's pretty standard delivery, but some of her lyrics are strangely vague. Over an electro-pop melody on the song "Disgusting" (co-penned by Kesha), Cosgrove sings, 'It's disgusting how you change me from a bandit to a baby.' And the piano-based ballad ‘Hey You' briefly alludes to the Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus, while 'Shakespeare' name-drops Jeff Buckley (who died in 1997 when Cosgrove was only 4- years-old). Elsewhere, paired with upbeat guitars and drum machines on the girl-power anthem ‘There Will Be Tears,' the singer happily belts out about being 'the one that got away.' Parents will likely tire of it quickly, but Sparks Fly will surely be stuck on repeat in minivans across the country. And to that review I say, well, my dad also enjoyed this album and it was definitely played on repeat in my family's car many of times.

So, despite all of those negative critics, I for one, LOVE this album.๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š Which I guess I’ll now go into a bit of my history with Sparks Fly, and how I became a fan it. Basically, I just remember someway, somehow getting the CD of Sparks Fly in 2010. A CD that I still have and definitely utilized for this post.๐Ÿ’ฟ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜Š Having said that, I don’t remember if I got the CD of this album as a late birthday gift at that time, or if I just bought it at the store one day when I was with my family, or what?๐Ÿค”But I just remember having the CD at that time, in 2010, and playing it on repeat all throughout the rest of that year. And I was 13-years-old at the time, so I was definitely the target demographic for this album. But I was also already a BIG FAN of Miranda Cosgrove, as I mentioned in my last post, because I watched all of the Nickelodeon shows and episodes that she was on. So, once she came out with this album, I just knew I had to own it. But again, I don’t know remember how I found out about this album before it was bought or given to me, and if I was gifted it or bought it myself with some money that I had. 'Cause this album came out a little bit over a month after my birthday that year, so i definitely didn’t get it on my birthday. But maybe it was a late birthday gift kind of thing? I also wasn’t earning my own money then, so I’m sure one of my parents gave me some money to be able to buy it. And it could have been bought one day that year when some of my family members and I went to our local grocery store, and I would always go straight to the DVDs and CDs section to see what new ones were released, and so maybe that’s when I saw this CD and had to buy it, because it was one that I didn’t have and from an artist that I actually knew. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure that whole store scenario is correct.

Not too long after this album came out my parents got divorced, and so I was dealing with a bunch of stuff in 2010. Let’s just say it was THE CRAZIEST, WILDEST, and just WORST year of my life.๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜ข But that’s why this album holds such a special place in my heart and is very nostalgic to me, because it was one of those things that helped me get through that really hard time in my life. It was actually this album and Miley Cyrus’ Can’t Be Tamed album that were the most played albums for me in 2010. And are albums that I associate that time of my parents divorce with the most, because I listened to both of those albums non-stop that whole rest of the year. All throughout my parents divorce. And for no specific reason. It wasn't, like, intentional or anything. I guess, those were just the albums that I related to the most at the time and are the ones that made me feel good when I needed to feel some happiness. Those two albums were definitely the vibes of the time for me.

So, i definitely listened to this album THE MOST in 2010. And then I kind of moved on from it after that year. Well, not moved on, but i definitely took a break from listening to it for awhile after that, just because I had listened to it so much and whenever I would listen to any song from it it would bring back some bad memories of that time that I didn’t want to always think about. But of course, after some years later, I came back around to wanting to listen to this album again. And I started being able to separate it from that bad year of my life. Which is always much easier to do as you get older and as more time has passed. ‘Cause you start to forget a lot of those bad memories anyways. So, now whenever I listen to this album it definitely still brings back some of those bad memories of that time in my life, but it also brings back some great, special, fond memories as well. Such as the many memories of my sisters and I with our dad driving us around to whatever places we were going to during the summer of 2010 when it was his time to spend with us, and I would of course ask every time we were in the car for my CD of Sparks Fly to be put in the car CD player so we could listen to it. And so, we would listen to that CD on repeat many times during car rides to wherever we were going. I’ll never forget those days.๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฟ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸฉทI remember my dad even LOVED a lot of the songs on this album then, and he still does. Just like my sisters and I do. That’s how good it is. And my dad didn’t like just any and every song from a teen pop star singer that my sisters and I would listen to CD’s of. So, if he liked it, then you know it’s good. 'Cause adults really did and still do enjoy this album. At least, I not only enjoyed this album when I was 13, but I even still enjoy listening to it now as an adult in my 20's. It really does stand the test of time.

Even though, this wasn’t my first time in a long time re-listening to this album for this post, as that would be last year when my younger sister wanted to make a video of hers and my older sister and I’s ranking of these songs, I was still actually really excited to re-listen to this album again and rank the songs from it for this post, because I'm always excited to go back and listen to it. And also just re-listening to it now that I’m even a bit older, I was curious to see if any of my thoughts and opinions of the songs had changed at all. Which I was a bit surprised to find out that some of my thoughts on a few of the songs on this album have definitely changed a little. But, don’t get me wrong, because I still LOVE all of the songs on this album (Except for maybe one, but we’ll get to that.). Just a couple of songs that used to be my MOST FAVORITES from this album ranked a bit lower than I initially thought they would have. And even a bit differently, I think, from when I ranked them just last year. So, that was interesting.

When I decided to start this little series of blog posts where I talk about every album/EP from my favorite Disney (and a few non-Disney) artists, I knew Miranda Cosgrove’s discography would most certainly have to be spotlighted on here, because with Sparks Fly specifically, it's an album that I grew up with and still LOVE to this day, and I really do think it’s one of the BEST teen albums of my generation. Just one of the BEST albums EVER in general. In fact, I actually planned on creating and posting about this album on the blog last year, but some other things came up. So I’m just really excited to finally get to talk about this album here with you all now, and share my favorite songs from the album and everything, because it’s been a long time coming. But also, me finally getting to post about this album now, this year, worked out pretty perfectly since today marks 16 YEARS since its release. Which is pretty crazy. Can you believe it? I know I can’t.๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿคฏ But I’m ready to celebrate it.๐Ÿฅณ So, hey you! What are you waiting for? This isn’t a daydream, it’s not disgusting, and there will not be tears, but maybe a brand new you after we get into A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Miranda Cosgrove’s Sparks Fly Album (in honor of its 16th Anniversary)!๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š✨ Okay, yeah, I know. Some of that doesn't make sense, but I tried.๐Ÿ˜Š

Just a brief note before we begin: As I mentioned before, the original version of this album, the only version I knew about for the longest time, only consisted of EIGHT songs, but I couldn’t not talk about the other FIVE songs that were included on the deluxe version I found out about way later. So this ranking does include ALL 13 songs from Sparks Fly. Now, for real this time, let’s get into A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Miranda Cosgrove’s Sparks Fly Album (in honor of its 16th Anniversary)! ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š✨

Well, that concludes A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Song from Miranda Cosgrove’s Sparks Fly Album (in honor of its 16th Anniversary! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’šI really enjoyed getting to go back and listen to this album once again. Especially after first discovering, not that long ago, the other FIVE songs that were included on the deluxe edition of this album that I didn’t even know existed for a very long time. And, although I can see why a few of those bonus tracks were left off of the original release of Sparks Fly, I still enjoyed my time listening to most of them again, after just listening to them all the way through for the first time last year. ‘Cause it just made for a longer album listening party, and for this album, that’s a huge plus. The more songs the better. But even just the original EIGHT songs made for a GREAT album.

Having said that, the songs on this album were EXTREMELY HARD to rank because they’re really all SO GOOD. Okay, there’s maybe a couple that aren’t so great, but there’s really no terrible song on this album. Even my least favorite song from this album, "Charlie", isn't the worst song I've ever heard. More specifically, I just had the toughest, most stressful time trying to rank the songs I put for #2, #3 and #4. 'Cause those three songs really are all EQUALLY GREAT. I just love the vibes of each song, and this album as a whole. Always have and more-than-likely always will. It was very, VERY nostalgic and kind of emotional going back to relisten to all of these songs, but mostly just very fun. And I already want to go back and re-listen to them all again. But I have to move on to rank the songs from Miranda Cosgrove's next next album. Though, again, this is definitely not the last time I’ll be listening to Sparks Fly. ‘Cause it’s ICONIC for a reason.

Truly, this album with or without the FIVE other songs is GREAT. It never gets old. And it never fails to bring me right back to those 2010 days. Again, I just LOVE the vibes of this album, and I still just wish this album was even longer. But for what this album is, it’s truly AMAZING. The songs, the artwork itself, just EVERYTHING about it. So, huge props to Miranda Cosgrove for creating this ICONIC album. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†๐ŸซถIt’s not only the BEST of her discography, but also one of the BEST albums of all time, and obviously a must-listen to anyone who hasn’t ever heard it. Although, if you’ve made it this far into this post, then you more-than-likely have taken the time to listen to every song from Sparks Fly. And what do you think? It’s SO UNDERRATED isn’t it? Seriously, why do I feel that this album didn’t get all the HYPE it deserved? And Miranda Cosgrove herself, because she's a GREAT singer. Well, again, that’s why I wanted to create this post to shine a spotlight on all of that. To at least share all of my LOVE and APPRECIATION for this ICONIC album that should never not be talked about in all the best ways. And, although this is certainly Miranda Cosgrove’s BEST album that she ever released, there’s still an UNFORGETTABLE one to talk about from her discography. Let me just say, it’s definitely more...HIGH MAINTENANCE.๐Ÿ˜‰So, until tomorrow, make sure that you hit that follow button to get notified when my next post goes up, comment down below what your favorite song is from Sparks Fly, and come Back to Disney soon for more GREAT, FUN, NOSTALGIC music from Miranda Cosgrove! Oh, and once again, HAPPY 16 YEARS TO SPARKS FLY!!! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฟ✌๐Ÿป
