A DEFINITIVE RANKING OF EVERY HANNAH MONTANA SONG (in honor of the 20th Hannah-versary)

  Welcome Back to Disney!👋🏻😊🎉Oh, and Happy (very late) New Year!🎆🎊🎇As I just realized, that this is my FIRST blog post of 2026. And it’s a FUN one, if I do say so myself.😊’Cause in honor of Hannah Montana’s 20th Anniversary, I thought I’d go back, listen to and rank EVERY Hannah Montana song. A post that I haven't done before on this blog, but definitely planned on doing eventually, and this month felt like the perfect time to do so. Since it’s Hannah-versary month after all.💛💚💜🩷💙

Last year for the month of March, or Month of Miley (as I called it), I re-listened to EVERY Hannah Montana AND Miley Cyrus album, and ranked EVERY song from each of those albums against each other.💿🎶 So this time, in honor of the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary, I thought I would just rank ALL of the songs that Miley sings as a her alter ego Hannah Montana (the titular character) in the TV show and movie. NOT the songs that Miley sings as her character Miley Stewart. Don’t worry though, because I will also eventually create a post with ALL of the Miley songs from EVERY album ranked against each other as well. I just wanted to focus on the songs specifically sung by Hannah for this post. Just to try something a little different. I also just stuck to ranking all of Hannah’s songs from the franchise for this, because I knew that it would be even more harder to rank every Hannah AND Miley song against each together. ‘Cause ranking just these 40 Hannah songs all together was EXTREMELY HARD to do, because they TRULY are ALL SO GREAT. Well, majority of them.😊🫶🏻Plus, each song and album has its own vibe and nostalgia for me, and I like each song for different reasons, etc., etc. So, it took me much longer than I thought it would just trying to rank these 40 Hannah Montana songs. But, even though ranking these songs was a bit stressful, I still really enjoyed my time creating this ranking because it definitely took me back to some GREAT times. And I’m really EXCITED to finally share with you what I believe to be the BEST, MOST UNFORGETTABLE, and ICONIC Hannah Montana songs OF ALL TIME. So, let’s not wait any longer, and get into A Definitive Ranking of Every Hannah Montana Song!💛💜💚🩷💙🎉💿🎶🎤🥁🎸🎹

Just a brief note before we begin: Like I said before, this ranking ONLY includes ALL of the songs from the Hannah Montana TV show and movie sung by Miley in character as Hannah Montana. Which came out to be 40 songs total. And if you’ve watched the show and movie as many times as I have, then you know that the songs on this list are THE ONLY Hannah-sung songs from the franchise.👍😊 

However, there are two songs on this list that I made an exception for, and included as Hannah-sung songs. One being “You and Me Together”. ‘Cause technically in the show Miley sings this song once as her character Miley Stewart in a dream sequence with her mom. But I took that scene as Miley Stewart practicing singing a Hannah song that she was going to end up performing on stage sometime as Hannah Montana. Plus, “You and Me Together” was also literally included on the Hannah Montana 2 soundtrack album, NOT the Meet Miley Cyrus album.💿🎶Which means, to me, that it was always meant to be a Hannah song, and NOT a Miley song. Even though, again, it was sung very shortly ONCE in the show by Miley as her character Miley Stewart. But once again, I see it more as Miley Stewart singing a Hannah song.

The second song that I also included on this ranking as a Hannah song, is “Ordinary Girl”. Even though it’s another song that Miley sings in character as Miley Stewart during ONE scene in the show, and NOT Miley in character as Hannah Montana. But I decided that “Ordinary Girl” is in fact a Hannah song, because in that one scene, although it’s showing Miley not in the wig as Hannah singing the song, it shows Miley writing the song for it to be a Hannah Montana song. Plus, the UNFORGETTABLE and ICONIC “Ordinary Girl” music video is literally all Hannah. Meaning it’s Miley in character as Hannah Montana singing the song. She’s singing the song about what’s really underneath the wig and everything. Which further proves my point. So, that was my logic going into creating this ranking for this post. And I hope all of that makes sense to you, too, because I was a bit confused myself at first when trying to consider what is technically a Hannah song and what is definitely a Miley song.

Oh, and if there were two versions of the same song, I just chose the version I liked the BEST out of the two. For example, there is the original “Best of Both Worlds” theme song and the “Best of Both Worlds: The 2009 Movie Mix”. And I chose to just include the original version, because I like that one better out of the two. Also, when it came to the songs like, “We Got the Party” (ft. the Jonas Brothers) and “I Wanna Know You” (ft. David Archuleta), I just chose to include the versions of those songs where it was just Miley as Hannah Montana singing by herself throughout the whole song. Since this post is all about Hannah Montana the show and the alter ego character herself. Although, I still definitely do prefer the Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers version of “We Got the Party”, and I also prefer the Hannah Montana and David Archuleta version of “I Wanna Know You”.😊 I also would have just included the Hannah versions of “Gonna Get This” and "Need a Little Love", but such versions don't exist. So, that’s why you’ll see that those are the only Hannah Montana songs with a featured artist on this list. Well, that concludes A Definitive Ranking of Every Hannah Montana Song!🎉 💛💜💚🩷💙💿🎶🎤🥁🎸🎹 I really enjoyed getting to go back and listen to these songs once again. ‘Cause anytime I get to listen to old Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana music, it’s always FUN and VERY NOSTALGIC. Just a GREAT TIME. Plus, majority of these Hannah songs TRULY NEVER GET OLD. They still stand the test of time. They’re FOREVER ICONIC.💿🎶⭐️🫶🏻 So despite where a song may have ranked on this list, it’s all just for fun, and doesn’t really take away from how great each song still is. ‘Cause I might not LOVE them all, or all of them the same, but I do appreciate them ALL. There are just some Hannah songs that I LOVE a bit more than others, per the reasons I mentioned above. But again, re-listening to all of this Hannah Montana music, was a GREAT and FUN way to start celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary. It definitely has gotten me even more HYPED, EXCITED, and ready for the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on March 24th. 📺🎉😊☺️🤗🥳‘Cause I’ll definitely be watching. Will you? I still can’t believe it’s been that long since the show aired.🤯🥹 I still remember exactly when and where I was when I first saw the commercial for the new show that was Hannah Montana.📺💛💜💿🎶🎤And then watching the pilot episode for the first time….Ugh, it was just EVERYTHING.
